SLEEPING LESS

Today, I would like to give you some informations about “SLEEPING LESS”.
According to oxford dictionary, Sleep is condition when the body is at rest with the eyes closed, mostly at night. Base on this difination, sleeping less is condition when the body just get a little time for sleeping.
commonly, people in the world consider that sleeping less is not good. What’s wrong with it?
People may think like that because sleeping less information that were gotten are bad oftently. My big question is; is sleeping less truely give bad effect to us?

Recently, Doctor from national Taiwan Hospital found the cancer case on young doctor who 37 years old. She contracted liver cancer. Its long was 10 cm. “Why?” The prominent couse is “Sleep less". She often stays late at night.
I concede sleep is important, but how much time that we really need for sleeping?
We common hear that adult need 8 hours. Is it true?

Based on National sleep foundation :
 “Sleeping time option for Young adult, those are : the normal is 7-9 hours, the minimum is 6 hours and the maximum is 10-11 hours”. But for high student, sleeping 7-9 hours could be impossible because it is still too much. How about the minimum option?, as Muslim Student  it is still much because muslim who bussiest ummah in the world don’t have much time for sleeping. So, how about 4 hours?
Base on  Jim Horne, professor of psychophysiology at Loughborough University's Sleep Research Centre, said: "The potential perils of 'sleep debt' in today's society and the need for 'eight hours of sleep a night' are often overplayed and can cause undue worry. Although this important study seems to support this concern, the participants had their sleep suddenly restricted to an unusually low level, which must have been somewhat stressful.
We must be careful not to generalise such findings to say habitual six-hour sleepers who are happy with their sleep. Besides, sleep can adapt to some change, and should also be judged on its quality, not simply on its total amount." He said.          
So reader, from this statement, 8 hours is not good for health if we do it continuesly, so 6 hours is better. But, from these theories we will relize the sleep theory could be changed, it is not impossible if sleeping duration will be decreased become 4 hours. Gradually, research will prove sleeping less is good.

Base on Al-qur’an surah Al-Muzamil : 1-7
O you who have wrapped up in your garments! (1) Rise to pray in the night except a little(2)
Half of it, or lessen it a little(3) Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an as it ought to be recite(4)
Surely we will make to light upon you a weighty word(5) Surely the rising by night is the firmest way to tread and the best corrective of speech(6) Surely you have in the day time a long occupation (7)
From these ayat, Allah who creat us and understand our need, ask us to pray at night, that is mean sleep less is ok.
When someone decides to  lessen the duration of sleep she or he should has the right way. Prophet  Muhammad slept earlier, woke up erlier and took a nap at noon. These are efective ways, because sleep erlier can prevent diseases, wake up erlier is also good for our health.
Friends, Do you know? Many success people are sleep less. For example, First, Barack Obama. He is a Precident of United States. Michael Lewis who a financial journalist show Obama schedule. He said, Barack Obama sleep 6 hours per night. Next, Jack Dorsey. He is Founder Twitter dan Square, jack said that he common sleep 4-5 hours per night. The last one is Habibi. He is the third precident of Indonesia, he is diligent and religios personality. He just sleep 2 hours per night. Beside that he just study study and pray.  So, Barack Obama, Jack dorsey and Habibi are success people who sleep less.
            Actually, there are 5 benefit of sleeping less for human. First, you can lower your risk for scary diseases. Second you can nearer with god. Third, you have a long time to study more and more. Fourth, you can do many thing with longer time. Finally, you will be success.

      After knowing the benefit of sleeping less, I will share you some tips for it. First, write your daily target, so that sleep less will meaningful. Second, Settle your alrm to start sleeping. Third, cleaning before going to bed. Fourth, praying before sleeping. Fifth,  don’t forget to settle alrm for waking up. The last, take a nap at noon.


So reader, In conclusion, sleep erlier and wake up erlier are good, sleeping less is no problem as long as we use the good ways of sleeping as prophet Muhammad SAW ways.
